What I do at MNW
I serve as an Elementary course assistant at MNW.

What is your Montessori journey?
I am grateful to be part of the MNW community, which advocates for accessibility to AMI training for all, through its Equity in Education Scholarships, which are offered to those who self identify as black, indigenous, and/or hispanic.

Favorite thing about MNW
While it’s hard to pick just one, I have been struck by the work culture at MNW. It’s a special thing to work with people who all love what they do, which makes for a warm and welcoming environment.

Commitment to ABAR Work
My engagement in ABAR learning is continuous and intentional. I am committed to working towards unlearning a world view steeped in white privilege, and a European historical paradigm. I am learning to lean out and hold space for marginalized voices, and better understand itersectionality to highlight and address inequalities and injustices.

Fact or Fiction?
Fiction as a relief from fact!

Cats or Dogs?
Both. Had 3 cats, now have 4 Basset Hounds.

Coast or Mountains?
both, though in different seasons.

Favorite food?
Haggis (for breakfast, lunch, or dinner).

Words to live by
“If nothing else, be kind”.
